Ribbon Route began after I moved abroad. Living in a different country gave me a new appreciation for how important it is to stay connected with the people you love. I expected to miss the occasional birthday, milestone or celebration, but I hadn't prepared myself for the worry that distance might slowly weaken the relationships that mattered most. That's when I realised the experience of receiving a gift could be so much more meaningful.
